Welcome to Hound House Farm!  Get ya a bale of hay and sit a spell, relax and enjoy.  I promise there is  no bite’n here, we are just too darn sweet for that.  
Here at Hound House we specialize in breeding exceptional AKC Miniature Dachshunds. We breed smooth coats and long coats in several colors and patterns. We are very proud to produce extremely well socialized puppies with excellent temperaments, and we take great pride in the babies we have. My passion is to place all of my babies in loving “Forever Homes” so we do not sell to puppy mills, puppy brokers or pet shops or anyone associated with them under ANY circumstances so please do not even ask.
We are very committed to all the babies we produce here at Hound House Farm and therefore  at anytime you feel you can no longer care for your baby, our door is always open.
All of our babies are raised in our home with lots of love and attention from day one. They are given the best care and attention possible. We start on potty pad training as soon as possible to help you out when you take your baby home. We also do leash training with our babies so that they are ready for walks as soon as you get them.  Our babies come to you pre-spoilt, kid tested and mother approved. A perfect package ready to show you love and give you little wet kisses.
All of our dogs are treated as family, each of  my dogs get to take turns going for rides and getting socialized with people when we pick up my kids from school everyday. Their favorite thing is to go for a ride in the pasture to check on the horses and cows or to the tanks while the kids fish. Some of them will even jump in for a swim. They sure love the water. We have lots of excitement everyday and you can certainly tell that my babies are very happy and healthy. You are welcome anytime to come and visit us, they love the company. Please make us your first stop of the day if you will be visiting other kennels. This helps us to make sure our babies stay healthy.

All of our babies will  be current on their vaccination and be free of worms to the best of our knowledge. Your baby will receive its puppy vaccinations at 6, 9 and 12 weeks of age and are wormed every 2 weeks from birth.

Science Diet Puppy food that they are currently on.

Deposit & Payments—Paypal accepted!!
We require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $300.00 to hold the puppy of your choice.  This deposit is non refundable but can be transferred to another puppy if you change your mind. The balance must be paid in full by the time the puppy is 6 weeks of age. We let our puppies go to their new homes when they turn 8 weeks old, we feel it is very important for them to stay together as litter mates until this time. Before placing a deposit please request our puppy contract via email. We must have a signed contract and deposit before a puppy will be listed as SOLD. WE DO ACCEPT PAYPAL!! Paypal fee of 3% applies. Please contact us before sending any payment. Checks must be made out to Mandy or Dowell  Missildine and will only be accepted for a deposit. If picking up your baby please bring cash.

Shipping
We do safely ship our dachshund puppies for an additional $300.00, or 2 puppies together for $355.00(We are very sorry for such high prices but with the cost of fuel the Airlines has now raised their ticket price) This will include their airline ticket, the kennel they will fly in, the health certificate and mailing your puppy packet.
All babies flying out must be 8 weeks old.

Where we are located?
We are located in Blum Texas. It is a small town between Fort Worth and Waco. For those of you in the area we are 15 miles NW of Hillsboro or 30 or so miles South of Alvarado.
We will be glad to meet you within 30 miles. Anything over is extra.
