Welcome to Himmlisch Schatten (Heavenly Shadows)!

We are a small, family-based German Shepherd kennel in Cincinnati, Ohio, but do not let our size determine your judgment.  Because we do not run a large kennel, we are able to take better care of our dogs and the litters that have, providing you with a healthy, quality, pedigree German Shepherd Dog.  We treat our dogs like our own family, and look for buyers who will do the same, ensuring that every puppy sold will go to a safe and happy home.

The goal of our breeding program is not for commercial use.  We love and enjoy the noble appearance and utter loyalty of the German Shepherd; our family has never had another breed of dog.  We garuntee that the puppy you purchase will be show quality and comes from rich bloodlines.  Our dogs are mostly solid black, with the occasional black and red/tan and sable.  Kyrah and Kolten, the dogs that serve as the foundation of our kennel, are AKC registered with extremely healthy pedigree backgrounds.  Any dog from our kennel will make a great family pet, breeding dog, guard dog, herder, Schutzhund dog, or police dog.
