Email Cody's Giant Schnauzers Cody's Giant Schnauzers objective is to raise puppies that are sound in temperament, structure, movement and health from health tested parents. All our puppies are raised in the home, and undergo the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test and the Hastings Puppy Puzzling (The Hastings approach to evaluating the structural quality of the puppies) before they are matched with their forever homes. All puppies are AKC registered and come with limited AKC registration unless prior arrangement is made for unlimited open registration. Puppies come with a health guarantee, a five generation pedigree certificate, a puppy care pack and ongoing support.
Puppies will go to their new homes at a minimum of 8 weeks of age. Puppies will be wormed every two weeks from birth and will have had their initial vaccinations and thorough veterinary exam at 6 weeks of age. Puppies tails are docked and dewclaws removed by our vet at 3 to 5 days of age. Tails are docked unless othewise discussed with new puppy owner wherein the puppy must be paid for in full prior to 3 days of age. Puppies are also microchipped.
Ear cropping is optional and an extra cost and can be discussed with the prospective new puppy owner. An owner requiring a puppy to have ears cropped must pay for the puppy in full prior to this procedure.
Cody Kennels has raised and exhibited dogs for more than 20 years. We are a family operation with only a handful of dogs. Our dogs are all part of the family and puppies are raised in our home. Over the years we have exhibited a number of breeds however the English Toy Terriers and Brussels Griffons were our primary love for many years. We have been fortunate enough to earn a number of Best In Group awards with our homebred English Toy Terriers, a rare breed in Australia and throughout the world.
We have bred/raised 22 homebred Australian Champions, including one homebred Australian Grand Champion, 2 Australian/German/European Champions including a Junior World Champion. We have also bred/raised 2 Singapore Champions, 2 German Champions and 2 Japan Champions.
We have also been competitive over the years in Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Earth Dog Trials and raised and trained our own working Border Collies for both Cattle and Sheep Trials.
