A small breeder located on 2 acres in the country specializing in the traditional English Labrador. We breed for English style puppies that have block heads, otter tails, sturdy build, intelligence, and calm loving temperaments.

Our commitment is to breed quality labs for show, hunt, and companionship. All of our labs are smart, loving, very calm, devoted, and eager to please. We carefully choose each and every one of our four-legged friends.

Temperament, health, intellect, and championship lineage are a few of the qualities we look for and strive for in all of our dogs & puppies. We want our puppies to be sound, quality Labradors. We recognize the 3 AKC registered colors (Yellow, Chocolate, & Black), although shades of these colors can vary.

Adult dogs are AKC registered, OFA cleared or Pennhipped. Puppies are raised in a loving environment and given lots of TLC. They come to you loved, adored, and spoiled. Each and every puppy comes with: first set of shots, wormed at 3, 5, & 7 wks of age, dew claws removed microchipped and cleared by our vet for their new homes. They also come with AKC registration, health records, health guarantee, 26 month hip guarantee, pedigree & a puppy starter kit. All puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 wks of age.

English Labs vs American Labs

Labrador Retrievers are categorized into three different categories: English, American, and Field. The dogs are different in appearance, but more importantly they are different in attitude. Field labs need to be in the field, American labs are incredibly intelligent but are boisterous and stubborn, and English labs are more laid back, but can be larger (up to 100 lbs). Here are some generalizations.

English Labs are referred to as show labs. Characteristics include calm demeanor, thick bodies, otter tails, dense coat, short muzzles, and wide (square) heads.

American Labs are referred to as field labs. Characteristics include long faces, fine coats, tall, thin bodies, long thin tails, round heads, and can have more energy.

Field Labs are trained solely for field trails.

However all dogs have their own personalities. A dogs temperament and obedience will depend on the owner and their willingness to train the dog. A dog needs love, attention and most of all discipline.
