Braxenburg Rottweilers is a small, urban hobby kennel located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada established in 1992 and run by myself, Dianna Contin & my husband, Adam. Our Rottweilers live in our home, with a toddler and a purebred, registered Maine Coon cat.

Our journey in the Rottweiler world has been at times the most fulfulling to the utmost heartbreak imaginable. We have met some amazing friends, and some really cool Rotties along the way. Ultimately, it’s our love and passion for the Rottweiler breed that keeps us going.
We are active in dog sports …
as we train primarily in CKC/UKC/CARO obedience and show our Rottweilers in CKC, UKC and German Style shows. Our dogs’ bloodlines are based on a combination of UK, German, Dutch and Finnish bloodlines. Bloodlines that began our journey into Rottweilers almost 20-years ago.
We health test our dogs …
using the OFA, OVC, CERF and DNA tests available (Hips/Elbows/Heart/Eyes). DNA is on file with AKC/UKC and the Veterinary DNA Centre.

dogs that can compete in a variety of sports and soundness in temperament and health. More importantly, a cherished companion to you and your family.
We breed only for the next generation …
Breeding Rottweilers responsibly ensures that our breed is not over populated nor placed in the wrong home. This is not a source of income for us, rather a passionate and educated love for the breed. We breed on an extremely limited basis and of course, only for ourselves and that puppy usually has some buddies that come along for the ride, so those puppies are available to go to homes that are appropriate for the puppy and people who plan to make their new puppy a lifetime commitment. Questionnaire, interviews, references required.
